Kathleen Colville is the Director of Community Outreach for Cone Health, one of North Carolina’s largest and most comprehensive health networks. Cone Health serves communities in Guilford, Forsyth, Rockingham, Alamance, Randolph, Caswell and surrounding counties in more than 100 locations, including six hospitals, 95 physician practice sites and multiple centers of excellence.
She leads Cone Health’s efforts to participate in key community-based and health-related coalitions; plans and coordinates the community health needs assessment process; and leads the system’s community benefit program. More information on those projects is available at conehealth.com/community.
Kathleen joined Alamance Regional Medical Center in 2008, after serving as an educator in public health and public education agencies. Kathleen has almost a decade of experience working in public health and hospital Emergency Management. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Brown University and Master’s Degrees in Social Work and Public Health, both from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Kathleen is pursuing a Ph.D. in Public Administration from North Carolina State University. Her research interests include network governance issues arising from the Affordable Care Act, and the ethics of emergency management planning and response.
